Committee Committee/Event Descriptions Volunteer Activities
Fundraising Various campaigns and events are held throughout the year to raise money that supports the classrooms, school and PTO sponsored activities. One main fall fundraiser (Club’s Choice), Dine Out for Education, and other family events. Assist with tallying orders to prepare for processing for the Club’s Choice fundraiser in the fall; Help with distribution of fall Club’s Choice fundraiser products in the fall. Assist with other fundraising activities as needed.  
Staff Appreciation   Provide meals for teachers and staff on one conference night in the fall and one conference night in the spring.  Also sets up and provides teacher and staff appreciation events throughout the year including teacher appreciation week. Help needed with food preparation on the day of the event as well as set up and clean up.  For conference dinners help is needed for set up as well as during dinner and cleanup following.  
STEAM Fair An event that includes both class and individual student science experiments/projects, visual art and performances..  The event also includes hands on experiments, activities and professional demonstrations. Assist with planning activities, help coordinate fair activities, review/judge experiments and projects, arrange professional demonstrations and photograph participants.  Help during the event with set up, supervision during event and clean up. Help with and supervise hands-on-activities throughout event.
Operation Joy Donations drive to collect winter outerwear and toys for Oregon families in need.  The winter outerwear drive takes place in November and the toy drive takes place in December. Need help to collect winter items and toys from donation sites at schools.  Help to print and distribute flyers at school. Help to sort and set up donation items for distribution as well as clean up at end of event.
NINA Fun Run All students run/walk during the school day to raise money for the NINA (Neighbors In Need of Assistance) Fund, an Oregon area supported fund for those in need of basic necessities.  The Fun Run is held in May. Help to set up water stations, hand out water to students and cheer on students as they walk/run for a great cause.  Volunteers needed for morning and early afternoon shifts during the school day (1-3 hour shifts)
Family Fun Night Family Fun Night-End of year family event held in May. Bounce houses, games, face painting, & food are provided at this event.  Family Fun Night-Help is needed to set up and clean up.  Also need volunteers to help with and supervise activities which include face painting, games, inflatable slides, bounce houses, etc.
