President Julie Klein
After working for many years at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and then the University Purchasing and Management Cooperative, Julie is now a stay-at-home mom to her two daughters. Her oldest, Maddy, is a 1st grader at Netherwood Knoll and her youngest, Sophie, is in preschool at Little Angels. After Covid put her gym membership on hold, she started pushing her double stroller all over town. She and her daughters just completed their second 500 mile Get to Sesame Street Challenge.
Vice President Denise Young
Denise Young is the board’s newest member. She grew up in Madison, WI and lived there until her husband’s job landed them in Des Moines, Iowa, where they lived for just 3 1/2 years. COVID offered them both work-from-home positions that allowed “home” to be anywhere. Oregon, WI was their landing place where Denise was drawn to the smaller community and the neighborhood feel. Having worked in the veterinary field for 18 years, Denise hung up that hat and started a new career with Nationwide Pet Insurance. By day, she processes insurance claims, and by night she’s mom to their daughter Ivy, a 2nd grader at Netherwood Knoll. Denise is excited to dive head first into this new adventure. She is excited to meet new people and build lifelong relationships with this community..
Treasurer Laura Reese
After eight years in the banking industry, Laura began a career as a stay-at-home mom when she and her husband had their first child and moved to Oregon in 2013. Today, she is a mom to a 3rd grader and kindergartener at Netherwood Knoll. When she’s not busy caring for the boys, she runs a small consignment business out of her home and volunteers in several capacities in the community.
Secretary Liane Rhodes
As an administrator at Bee Balm Learning Center, where all her children attended, Liane was able to have a direct hand in shaping their early learning experiences. She is so excited to continue being involved in her children’s education through the Oregon PTO. Liane lives here in Oregon with her husband and their three children. Her daughter Kelly and son Nolan are in 4th grade and kindergarten at Prairie View Elementary, and her youngest, Kenneth, attends Bee Balm in Madison, where mom is just a room away. She looks forward to a great school year!
